We always get told that without writing your goal , your goal becomes a wish.
So You feel energized , excited and ready to take some action.
But for some reason couple days later, these weird feelings of stress, insecurity and overwhelm creeps in.
Oh oh, then wat?
Why is that happening?
It could be number of things :
- Your goals aren’t realistic
- Its not from your heart
- You actually don’t believe in it
- Too many goals
These feelings can suck the creativity out of you, which makes you paralyze and you end up not moving forward.
So, what can you do ?
You need to ask yourself, what do you want from yourself. What do you expect from yourself? Do you want to hold on to your words? Do you expext from yourself to show up?
What do you want?
After asking yourself, it’s important to know what is truly important to you? Write it down, if there is a lot on your list , cut it down in half or in thirds and focus on them.
When you’ve figured out whats truly important to you, it’s time to question yourself if you are willing to take responsibility. Are you willing to take go for the extra mile?
To avoid being overwhelmed: the key to succeed is to work in chunks. Pull out your planner and find out on what and the day you can spend your time working closer to your goals. What can you do in a week? 2 weeks? a month?? What about 3 month ?
TAKE ACTION! I have learned , when things gets tough that is when it’s BEST to hold on to your dream instead of giving up.. Believe in yourself and know you can do this!
