If your anything like me, I get easily bored when it comes to cleaning.
I need to get a boost to fall in love with cleaning and it doesn’t come that easily.
BUT.. there are creative ways to make you love it and enjoy it.
1.Magazine / Pinterest.
It’s kinda funny to include pinterest. But I assume you have pinterest ?
Whenever I look at magazine’s and pinterest , I get enormously a boost by just looking at these beautiful sparkly clean kitchen and homes from bloggers and magazines. It makes me WANT to clean my home right NOW.
2.Listening to the radio.
Can I tell you a secret? I almost never look forward to when it comes to doing the dishes. In fact I cringe and already have made my mind up that I am not going to do it. That’s until I invested in a radio player. Gosh there is so much fun going on in the kitchen!
3.On the phone.
Ok, that might not make you love cleaning, but it will make your task less stressful and you get to talk to someone! Talk about not being bored!
4.Listening to music.
Even though it applies to listening to the radio, but listening to your own favourite play list is so much fun. Dance a long with your favourite songs again again and again and again.!
5.Have a Cleaning Checklist.
A while ago I shared with you how sometimes my brains freeze, which led me to make a checklist to keep up with my cleaning. 6 Month fast forward, I have been keeping up our bathroom and each day I do small tasks of cleaning every day. This cleaning checklist has made my cleaning stragety a lot easier.
6.Race against clock
I like to challenge myself quite a lot. By setting up my timer I make it fun to see how quick I can clean and tidy things up , but also if I can beat my previous records. You have to try this!
7.Create a Cleaning Caddy
To make cleaning so much easier in your life, you need to have your best tools ready.
Basic things you need in there:
All purpose cleaner
and a old toothbrush
8.Get the kids involved.
I have always read that you have to get your kids involved, but I wasn’t sure if that ever would work for me. My oldest is almost turning 5 and sometimes he insist to hoover our living room. Which makes my life with cleaning so much easier and get things done quicker. ( I love it!)
What are your creative ways to make cleaning easy and enjoyable?
