I always feel motivation is needed on Monday.
Monday’s are known to be a not-so-popular-day and some people (including me) really need that boost to rock their day.
For quite some time Monday has been my favorite day of the week *Gasp*. I KNOW quite shocking right?
But I do remember vividly that wasn’t always true.
In fact, I hated it.
However, I can safely say over the years I’ve mastered the skill of making things harder than it really needs to be.
But thankfully that’s not the case anymore and I can think a few reason why.
But to tell you the truth, the number one thing that truly helped me to make that all happen is…
Today I want to share with you, 5 ”secrets” of mine that makes my day productive.
Make the bed
I can not tell you, (well I can!) How relaxing and breathtaking it feels once the beds are made. Not only will the room look/feel organized but your mind too. I’ve been both the type of person (who does/don’t making beds) and whenever I did not make the bed, I felt frustrated and disorganized.
It’s only since the last 2 years, I have been persistent and never looked back! If you’re not the type of person that has made this a habit, you need to push yourself every day (one step at a time) and once you experience the feeling..remind yourself for the lazy days how good you will feel!
I now always make sure to start my day by making the bed, a habit I consciously make myself do in order to feel productive which leads me to become productive throughout the day.
Load the first laundry.
Start Loading the first load of the day, will take the load off your shoulder. It always amazes me how productive I already feel once I hit that Start button.
Write your top 3 priority for the day
If you are anything like me, who get’s paralyzed by the never-ending overwhelming TO Do lists/tasks, then STOP with whatever it is you are doing. Your brain is telling you this is madness!
With the help of my amazing daily planner, I was able to plan my day and choose my three priority’s that needed to be done TODAY. It took me several years to realize I wasn’t simplifying my life.
Don’t make that same mistake!

20 / 30 minutes tidying and cleaning your home.
It might not be your cup of tea to spend an hour cleaning. Just saying it out loud probably paralyzes you.
You don’t have to be.
Simplify by only spending at least 30 minutes to tidy, organize and clean your home. However, this hack requires some speeds, this way you are being productive and get more done.
Trust me, it makes a ton difference!
Review your day.
This is probably almost my favorite everyday activity at the end of the day.(weird right?!) Where I sort of rewind, look at my daily planner and track how productive I been that day, and whether there is a room for improvement.
There are days where you don’t simply get much done, and other times which deserves a happy dance :).
To me, it’s a daily goal to motivate myself. If I succeed and it works? I repeat the same thing over and over again.
