Welcome to the first part of Spring Cleaning Challenge! Where we will be focusing in spring cleaning our home and make it sparkly.
Today,let’s talk about the places we tend to overlook and completely forget about. I know we get so busy during the week and only make time for basic cleaning, that we really overlook the important chores that actually also should have our attention. Taking care of our children, makes it also so easy to forget, but this month let’s make an commitment to do those task.
So here are the Top 10 Must Places You Probably Forgot To Clean
1.Behind the Sofa
It’s easy to think your living space is clean and tidy, once you give it a nice update and makeover. But have you checked under your sofa? The hidden dirt is all in there! Mind you, it always scares me to go under there. With little kids running around, you never know what you might find.
Tip: Decide on the weekend to clean behind AND under the sofa. Don’t forgot to clean The bottom of the sofa itself as well! it may surprises you!
2. Under the fridge
If you think cleaning inside the fridge is all you have to do, than think again!
Wether you do notice that the fridge itself deserve a cleaning makeover, but ever stopped wonder what’s under the fridge, when you move it? Ouch! The things you found that is under any furniture!
Tip: Remove things you have found, use the mop to scrub well
3. Behind the oven.
You’ll be surprised how much dirt there actually is. I never would have thought of cleaning behind the oven stove if my mother never made me do it. The dirt that you will find behind there isn’t appealing at all.
Tip: Don’t forget to use your gloves for picking up the dirt, and mop the floor well.
This is something that is soo easily overlooked and really you need to have a magnifier to spot the dirt.;) But this is just a simple solution that can be done in matters of second.
Action: Take out your baby wipes and wipe the dust and dirt off your baseboard.
5. Doors and knobs
The one where we slam the door, the one that keeps us from the cold, the one that divide the room. But when was the last time you cleaned the door? Whether we can see it or not, you’ll be surprised how sticky and dirty it can get. Today take the time to clean the doors, it only take 10 minutes or less to get it done.
I’ll be the first to admit, that I don’t take often notice of our windows. It’s something I keep saying I’ll will do it, but end up forgetting all about it. It’s on my to do list to do this weekend! When was it the last time you clean your windows?
7. Behind the bed and under
Just like behind the sofa, the hidden dirt and dust are always to be found under the bed. I don’t know why it always surprises me, but this is the one place I often wonder, how did it get there?
Tip: to stay on top, decide how often you would like to clean under there.to deep vacuum a bedroom could mean once a week.
It would make sense to clean your mattresses since that’s where dust mites are.(YIKES!) But really how often do you clean your mattress? By vacuuming them whenever your changing your sheet is a great starting point.

This is something that I personally easily overlook and you probably too! If we look closer you can see easily see that the poor blinds might need a bit of cleaning.
Tip : for easy simple cleaning trick, use an old sock to clean and wipe off dirt. You’ll be surprised how much dirt an old sock can pick up!
10. the walls of bathroom/toilet room
We pour our heart and sweat when it comes to cleaning our bathroom. We mop the floors, clean the bathtub, the sink, the toilet and we think we ticked off all the boxes of things needed to be clean. I mean what more could we possible clean? It’s just that one thing that we overlook and don’t even think about it a lot. ( I know I do) It’s the walls! But it does make sense since the walls catch dust and gets moist from the showers.
Tip: clean with your microfiber, for ceiling use this swiffer.
